On April 25, Lauren and Dominic were married in a ceremony at Fox Hollow, followed by a reception at the Somerley at Fox Hollow.
One of the best parts about being a wedding photographer is the way it invites you into the lives and hearts of others. Lauren and Dominic were no exception. They were proud to share their stories of love and commitment to each other.
They first met while visiting some mutual friends in Harlem, NY. Lauren knew there was something incredibly special about Dominic. However, he lived in Boston, and she was from Philadelphia. They both knew that the 6-hour drive between them would take effort, but they also felt that, in the end, it would be worth it. They were right!
Lauren describes Dominic as the most genuine and loving person she has ever met. When we asked what she loves about him most, she answered without hesitation—“everything." Dominic describes Lauren as funny, caring, thoughtful, and intelligent.
Dominic asked Lauren to marry him on the day they closed on their new home. To celebrate this big moment, they popped a bottle of champagne in their kitchen. As Dominic started the toast, he flipped the bottle around, revealing the label, which said... “Will you marry me?”
Lauren's dress is a Justin Alexander. She found it first online, but she could not find a dress shop that could get it for her. After trying on a ton of other dresses, she finally found Fantasy Weddings in New Jersey. They were able to locate the dress, order it, and Lauren looked absolutely fabulous in it.
Franco and Neo both started at the Inn at Fox Hollow. Neo was with Dominic, and Franco was with Lauren. As the day went on, we got to see these two come together beautifully!
As usual, The Somerley at Fox Hollow provided incredible service and mouth-watering food, as well as limitless beautiful options for photos. We loved how many beautiful, loving family moments we were able to capture there!
Our personal favorite moment was when Dominic was overcome with emotion during his and Lauren's first dance, and he buried his face in her neck and shoulder. We especially loved when Lauren danced with her dad, while family hugged, cried, and watched.
Dominic and Lauren, we couldn't be happier for you! Thank you for letting us share in your wedding day! The love you share was a special thing to be a part of.
